Surroundings
In the surroundings of Ludvikov Horses & Holiday there is much to see and do. We have made a selection for you.
Nové Město pod Smrkem:
Nové Město pod Smrkem is a small village where Ludvikov pod Smrkem is part of. There is a big lake in Nové Město, where you can swim in summer. You could also rent a pedal boat.
There is also an indoor swimming pool in Nové Město.
The museum of Nové Město, offers a look into the history of Frýdlant.
Jindřichovice pod Smrkem:
The museum of Jindřichovice, depicts life during the industrial revolution. The museum is open from May till October. The windmill and small ecological exposition in Jindřichovice are also interesting to see.
Lázně Libverda:
In Lázně Libverda you can find a spa, which they are currently renovating. When it is completed, it will be a wonderfull place to completely relax.
Frýdlant:
Frýdlant is a typical Czech town with a square at the heart of the town. Around the square a number of shops and restaurants are located. With good weather you can sit and drink something on the terrace.
The town hall of Frýdlant is located in the square and it is the dominant factor of the town. The town hall was built in the years 1893-1896 in Neo-Renaissance style. There is also a museum inside the town hall, and a Tourist office.
The museum exhibits the nature and history of Frýdlant.
The medieval castle was built on 60 meter high basalt cliffs. In the castle you will see several interiors, the collection of weapons, trophy collection etc. The castle is located directly across the river Smědá. The river flows through Frýdlant.
Liberec:
Liberec is the nearest big city. You can shop there, but it is also a beautiful city to visit. the heart of Liberec is formed by the square, with town hall in Renaissance style. Other attractions include the Neo-Gothic Anthony church and the 17-century Wallenstein houses.
Liberec has the largest zoo of Czech Republic, including white tigers.

Activities
There are various activities in our place and in the surroundings.
Harrachov:
In Harrachov there is a new bobsleigh run, situated in the town centre. This exciting bobsleigh ride can be experienced by the whole family. There is also a Monkey park, with a 273 m long rope course with 14 elements. You will even find 84 m long rope crossing over the bobsleigh track. Monkey park focuses on recreation, fun and adrenalin. there are several elements hung between trees 3-7 meter high above the ground. As a rest area there are special platforms between single elements which also provide crossing points to the next element. Children must be at least 140 cm.
Liberec:
In Liberec you will find a big centre, called Babylon. There is a variety of things to do, such as:
* Aqua Park: several slides and swimming pools. There is a wild water coaster,
whirlpool, romantic cave, etc.
* IQpark; more than 200 interactive playful, fun and educational “games” from
different areas of human life. There is something for all ages and for every interest.
* Lunapark; an indoor centre with attractions for children and adults. There are bumper
cars, carrousels, swings, climbing frames, trampolines, video games, simulators etc.
